Volunteers Needed – Townsville V8 Supercars Event
Townsville State High School is once again coordinating car parking for the upcoming Supercars event, and we need your help!
The event runs from Friday 10 July to Sunday 12 July. As TSHS is uniquely positioned in the middle of the race track, we are able to offer car parking to the public — making this a fantastic fundraising opportunity for our school.
We are seeking volunteers to assist across the three days. Volunteers can nominate one or multiple 3-hour shifts, helping to direct cars, collect money at the gate, and support general parking operations.
As a thank you, each volunteer will receive one raffle ticket per shift, with the winner drawn at the first school assembly following the event. The lucky winner will receive a Weber BBQ, generously donated by Mr Baillie (Member for Townsville).
There will be raffles offered during the event also, watch this space to find out more information regarding how to purchase tickets, and there may even be spot prizes for volunteers to win. You never know what you may win simply by volunteering and helping out your school community!
All funds raised go directly towards much-needed resources and programs for our students, so your support truly makes a difference.
