Role of Guidance Officer

Support students with the following:

  • Mental health, stress & anger, anxiety and depression.          
  • Careers counselling.
  • Healthy relationships.        
  • Subject selections - SET planning, QTAC, QCE.
  • Liaise with external agencies and support networks.
  • Student protection issues– self-harm, suspected risk & harm.
  • Students in Out of Home Care.    
  • Grief/loss, personal care education.​
