On Tuesday 24th March you are invited to attend our first Parent/Teacher interview evening to meet with the teachers of your child/children and discuss their progress. Interviews will be conducted in the Townsville State High School Library from 3.30-6.30pm and are of ten minutes duration.
Interviews can be booked using the school online booking system (SOBS) to secure your preferred interview times. Please follow the procedure below:
- If you wish to see any of your child's teachers, you need to secure an appointment time using this system. If you do not have access to the internet your local library may be able to help, or alternatively you can call the school office on 47218 777 and our office staff will book your appointments for you.
- The online booking system will open for bookings from 8am Monday 23rd February 2026 and close at 4pm Friday 20th March 2026. To Access SOBS, click the Quick Link 'Book parent/teacher interview' at the bottom of the page or go to the the link at the bottom of this article. Follow the prompts.
- Prior to your interview please have a discussion with your student about school. Find out if there are any areas in particular that may need attention. Find out their subjects and teachers from their timetable.
Please note teachers may request an interview with you if they feel there is a matter of importance which should be discussed with you.
Parent Teacher Interviews are a great way to ensure your student is on track for success and we encourage your child to accompany you to the interview as this often assists the discussion and clarification of outcomes.
