TSHS is in the unique position of being situated right in the middle of the SuperCars track. This means that every year the school and P&C only need to participate in one fundraising event, which last year bought in over $35,000 that was used to purchase new shade structures for the school (installed soon). You read this correctly – in only 3 days, we raised over $35,000. No raffles, no barbecues, no fetes, no baking – simply one event that raised more money than these fundraising events would combined.
The SuperCars are back again this year from 5 to 7 July, and we need the support of the entire school community to make this event as successful as it has been previously. All that is needed is 3 hours of your time over the SuperCars weekend to raise money to benefit the students at Town High.

Volunteer incentives
- Volunteers who attend get an entry ticket into the draw to win a grand prize (still to be determined), one entry ticket for every shift.
- Senior students can get a bunch of GOTCHA's towards the senior formal (we're hoping for 25 per shift, capped at 2 shifts per day).
- Prizes for fancy dress, or best silly (sun safe) hat.
- Fundraising opportunities for Town High student groups.
- Water, soft drinks, wraps, sausage rolls and pies are available (for free) to keep volunteers fuelled over their 3-hour shift, provided by our fabulous canteen staff.
The P&C are holding an information session on Wednesday 5 June at 4:15pm in the library for car parking volunteers for the Supercars weekend. Come along to hear more about the range of activities, what volunteers need to do and the great prizes that you could win. Pizza and soft drink will also be provided. Have a look at the Carparking Volunteers FAQ for more information if you cannot attend this information session.
